SM HYPERMARKET's shopping bags are now BIODEGRADABLE.

At Willow Ridge Plastic, Inc. , Kentucky, USA , the sample plastic containing "BDA" ( BDA is a non-toxic element that contains no regfulated heavy metals ) was submitted for testing and met the oxobiodegradable requirements. It was tested using both accelerated UV and accelerated oxidation.

OXOBIODEGRADATION means this product degrades first by an oxidation process and then by biodegradation under conditions of sunlight (UV), heat and time. The end results are CO2, H2O and biomass.

We can all do our share , together with SM HYPERMARKET SUCAT!

LABOR DAY Celebration

As part of our support, SM Hypermarket Sucat celebrated LABOR DAY by participating to the Mall Activity entitled " JOB FAIR - Join the proud Pinoy Workforce ". This was held last May 1, 2008, Bldg B. entertainment area from 10am -6pm. This was the First SM Job Fair of SM Supermalls, in cooperation with DOLE, PESO and the local units of the Philippine Government.
